		<description>I really enjoyed your tips on surviving homesickness... they are really relevant and true! They remind me of a &lt;a href="http://my1stime.blogspot.com/2008/10/when-you-miss-your-mommy.html" rel="nofollow"&gt;post&lt;/a&gt; i wrote a while ago on the same subject.  I also mentioned that it's better to stay at varsity instead of coming home all the time.  If you go home constantly, you really miss out on some of the best experiences, and lose the chance to meet and bond with new people. It's tough, but you can survive it.  It really does get better.</description>

		<description>I think these are great ways to cope with homesickness!  Most freshmen meet each other through activities on the weekend, so going home on the weekends is not a good idea.  I think it's also important to communicate with your parents and friends through AIM and email.  Communication is key to transitioning from high school days to college!</description>
