The information that was giving was helpful to me because I am in my second year in college and I was a little confused about if I should minor in another subject. I think the best option for a person would be to examine their self as far as what they can and can not handle. I know personally a double major or minor would not be the best way to go for me because I truely believe that it would be challenging and I am to focus at this point in my life where I would not want to mess up because of any extra's.

I would like to point out that at some schools, such as SMU in Dallas, TX you are required to get a minor. Often times in these schools unless your major is a liberal arts one, your minor must be from a different school than your major. For instance, if you are getting an undergrad marketing degree from the business school, you can't count a minor in accounting towards your minor requirement because it is from the business school too. You would need to get an economics or international studies degree, something like that.
