		<description>Nothing beats good advising!  Confirming that you're on track - even if you're sure that you are - can mean the difference between graduating on time, or early, and doing an extra semester because you missed some requirement.  A good advisor can also point you toward some hidden gems of courses or instructors that you might miss otherwise.</description>

		<description>Great point on utilizing your advisor.  As an added bonus, a good relationship with your advisor can yield information or letters of recommendation for graduate school or the job market.  He or she might even be able to get you into a research lab for a summer if you so desire.</description>

		<description>Some colleges don't accept AP credits so if you're shopping for one, check that out. Mine doesn't and it was annoying. Also, it might let you skip a course but not count for any sort of requirement. Therefore, you'd still need to take another class to meet graduation requirements a lot of the time. Check out the college catalog to be sure.</description>
