Survive College

Surviving college is about a lot more than studying and staying awake in class (though both of those will help you get a good start. That’s why I started this blog, Surviving College Life–to give you a heads up about all the things I learned the hard way–from dorm life to study tips–so you can (hopefully!) get through college not only with good grades but also with a lot of good memories.

Surviving college means a balance between work, play, health, and academics. (It can also mean learning how to do your laundry on your own). But a good college experience–not just surviving, but really enjoying college–also means having more meaningful relationships, learning how to live comfortably with a roommate, finding a sense of purpose, getting through homesickness, and beginning to come to terms with who you really are.

So browse around–check out the archives, look at my recent posts, and find out what to expect from college life. And if there is anything you want to ask about, or if you have suggestions, feel free to leave me a comment, or contact me here.

Good luck!

-Jamie
